What do you do when doom scrolling has taken over your Bible time? How do you actually hear God's voice? What does it look like to be yourself in public as a shy girl? And what do you do when you keep…

And so the first question that we're going to answer is, how do I get back into the habit of reading my Bible instead of scrolling? What a great question.
Give yourself grace because the more that you read the Bible the more you will fall in love with it but it's okay if you don't love to read the Bible like right now like that's a that develops the more that you get into it and so sometimes I feel like people can say like you don't want to make it a check the box thing and that's very true but sometimes like you do need to schedule time you need to make it a point and you need to set away like distractions in order to make it a habit, and then you'll learn to love it.
And then you'll love it so much that it's just something that you get excited to wake up in the morning and pick up your Bible.
Something Jamie has said a whole bunch is you take your phone and you put it on the other side of the house, like somewhere, give it to your mom, something like that.
I agree with the put your phone somewhere where it's not right next to you.
I did that for a while and that really worked for me.
Don't know why I stopped.
I know that's something else that's worked for me.
But I really recommend not having it even in your bedroom if you can help it or make it a point to not have it.
charging in your bedroom is something that's helped me in the past.
Because the world is going to try and tell you lies, and that's, your phone is like the biggest distraction ever.
And as Christians, we are supposed to set our eyes on Jesus and, you know, follow his example and like not follow the ways of the world.
So starting off your day with truth will help you to see that the world is telling you lies so that you don't believe them but you believe the truth
yeah i feel like sometimes it's not always necessarily the social media but it can be just like okay what do i have today i have i have to do this i have to do this i have to do this i have to whatever just slow down and just commit your day to the lord and be like all right lord what do you have for me today it's so important because the things that you do they're kind of pointless if you don't have the right mindset going into them like No matter what you're doing, you can bring God into it, like Kaylee said in her session, and that it gives your life purpose.
And so you can, yeah, it's foundational.
And then it changes the way you live that day.
Yeah.
And then another just quick practical tip is habit stacking.
So if there's something that you do every single morning, like for me, I get up, I make my bed, I open my blinds and then I pick up my Bible and I sit down.
Like if you just attach it to something that you are already doing, then it can be like, all right.
