And suddenly this becomes a little bit more interesting.
Because if these genuinely are two independent recordings of the same object, then we're potentially looking at something that was visible over a significant area of the Iranian capital.
But there are also some fairly big problems with this video.
And before anybody jumps to real or fake or illuminated kite or AI, we need to work out exactly what we're looking at.
The footage appears to originate with an Iranian social media user called Ali Sadagati, hosted under the account Ali Sida.
He gives us something particularly useful that we don't always get with UFO videos, which is a location, a date and an approximate time.
He says this was filmed from Azdikan Highway in Tehran around 7.30 in the evening local time on September 20th, 2026, yesterday.
His original post translated from Persian essentially says, He filmed an unknown object in the sky.
He didn't know what it was.
He believed it was close to the clouds.
It displayed unusual lights and appeared to hover without making any sound.
Now, obviously, that's the witness's description, and it isn't independently established data.
But let's look at the footage itself.
What immediately catches your attention is the arrangement of lights.
Rather than seeing one isolated point of light, there appear to be a curved, almost crescent-shaped formation.
and depending upon how you interpret the image your brain very quickly starts connecting those lights together you begin seeing a structure possibly something triangular possibly something boomerang shaped perhaps even something considerably larger the height appears to be cloud altitude as we can see what looks like the object disappearing with the cloud coverage and then reappearing But this is where the story becomes more interesting, because another video was subsequently posted on the Instagram account called Imaginary4482.
The caption also identifies the location as Tehran, and the footage looks quite different.
Different apparent altitude, different angle, different camera capturing it.
There's also what appears to be a bright central light or a cluster with different colors becoming visible as it moves.
At this stage, we can't demonstrate that these two videos show the same object.
We don't have precise coordinates for both cameras.
We don't have a continuous sequence connecting the two recordings, as is often the case with UFO footage.
But I'm interested in this one specifically because we have footage that doesn't have the AI hallmarks.
With the exception of how short it is, which is often the sign, but not proof, that it's AI generated, this one loses focus, it blurs in an authentic way, and the audio seems to match the environment.
But we don't have enough information at this point.
