October Energy: Two Retrogrades, One Big Shift

So basically, the main thing to understand about October is that we are going to have two retrogrades.

I'll explain that what it is in a moment.

But the most important one will be a Venus retrograde.

And Later in the month, we were actually going to have Venus and Mercury both be retrograde.

Let me set that up, explain, and then we'll go into the dates to pay attention to.

Retrogrades as a general theme is about retracing, revisiting, using all these RE words, revising, revisiting, reevaluating, returning.

This is the general theme of a retrograde.

The planet from our vantage point, when we look up, looks like it's going backwards.

Okay.

And so the symbolism is going back to something in related to the theme of that planet.

All right.

So everyone, of course, has heard about the dreaded Mercury retrograde, and it's scary.

Not always, but when you understand what Mercury is, you can see why when it gets stuck and starts going backwards, right? So Mercury is a planet that talks about media, internet, writing, communication, right? These are all very important modern themes in particular, right? It's almost amplified.

And so anything having to do with signing papers, contracts, right? communication when the planet is retrograde it's like walking backwards blind right and so you can't quite see you just know things are not moving forward they're going backwards is that making sense yeah and so yes that's that's the that's why there's miscommunications misunderstandings and what that basically means is that the the planetary conditions are right for those it doesn't mean it has to happen if that makes sense it means that that will more likely than not happen because you have to focus more on communication you have to be particularly during the retrograde with Mercury be especially focused on being clear in your communications

okay

um and literally it's it's the situation is like this I put my glasses on top of my head where are my glasses okay where's those right and we start freaking out and then oh okay oh they're right here That's Mercury retrograde.

There's a lapse in like your ability to perceive something.

Is that making sense? So that's a lot of what Mercury is.

So the first thing that happens, you know, when you have like Mercury retrograde situation is just like stop and say, wait, okay, I know it was right here.

Where did it go? Okay.

So that's the energy.

Now, as it relates to Venus, those themes are all Venus themes.

Venus is a planet that we typically know about relationships, right? So it's very relational, sorry for saying that, relational related, right? So marriage, partnerships, romantic and otherwise, right? Harmony, diplomacy, right? Venus is about the comforts, if you will.

Venus obviously has the sensuality.

So very much there's sexuality dynamics going on with Venus.
