Now I've grouped these part topic and we'll start with Adam Kelly.
No matter what trades we do this year, we must keep pick three.
Yep.
I like I'm big on pick three.
I really don't want to part ways with it.
Certainly no pick splits are going to be on the agenda this year with the rules around the end of first round compost.
The only way we're going to part ways with it is if Chad Warner decides he wants to play for West Coast this year.
Now, I have my reservations about this.
I have oscillated a little bit.
I've got some mixed feelings about it.
Do I think the club would do it? I do think the club would do it personally.
So that's where I stand on the likelihood of it.
But I think I would much rather add a top five pick in this year's draft too.
pretty comfortable if we wait a year there's plenty of reasons to wait a year in my opinion i just wonder if the club sees it that way and whether they would tolerate being a poor team next year which i think is going to happen i can see them seizing the opportunity their eyes lighting up and getting aggressive and we will be a better team next year if we have chad warner in it but yeah be flat on draft day if we have to wait until the mid-20s before we select for the first time Then we have XUltra who says, who is the ideal pick at number three? So I think specifically this draft class, there's an absence of a clear consensus best choice for us.
We also don't know who's going to be available because it's even.
It's unclear whether Heath Melody, who has bolted up the rankings, is even going to be available at pick three or pick five, as you say, with the additional picks added in.
There's Harry Van Haddam.
I guess in the hypothetical scenario where if the Eagles were able to land Chad Warner, specifically Chad Warner this offseason without giving up pick three, I would actually be much more open to Harry Van Haddam.
I think he's going to be a very, very good key position slash ruck player and could work with a Kubidov title.
I'd love a midfielder too, but I think in the scenario where we actually get Chad Warner early, I would probably go Harry Van Haddam.
Failing that though, I think we need to go midfielder.
So I've liked Aki Butler.
I also really like Heath Melody.
But also if we're left with those two, go on it and say Augusta Sher is there.
