We're gonna start today, unfortunately, where we spent a lot of time in recent months in the Middle East.

Up until the middle of last week, around this time last week, it seemed like it had calmed down.

There'd been a ceasefire, there'd been less back and forth, and then all of a sudden we're back to square one.

There's obviously s-fears with supply of, of everything from petrol to jet fuel and so on.

Just as we get into the colder months or start to get into the colder months in Western Europe or Europe, fear of, of supply, of shortages, et cetera, ramps up once again.

As well as that, fear of a wider regional or even international conflict rise once again.

Now, we've covered extensively the fact that this was never meant to be a quick, short something that was over very quickly.

This was always meant to be about prolonged conflict, and therefore, whenever peace looked like it was possibly about to come, something would always happen to destroy that, to pull us back to square one.

There's been rhetoric, there's been deals, there's been talks, there's been peace talks, there's been summits, there's been agreements, et cetera, et cetera.

And they've all led to absolutely nothing apart from five minutes of calm before we get back to where we are now, which is missiles flying through the air.

[sighs] So four oil tankers that are, are supposedly linked to the Re- Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps were targeted, as well as a fifth one up near Kharg Island, which is the major oil terminal off the north coast of Iran, where ninety percent of the oil that Iran exports goes through.

But the thing to point out here, we covered this a few weeks ago as well, is that the Americans are running out of weaponry in that region.

They're running out of interceptor missiles in particular, and it looks like, from what you can see so far, the Iranians have used pretty low-level technology so far compared to what they have.

They've used lots of small missiles and things like that, when they still have quite sophisticated military technology that they haven't used.

And as I say, the Americans are running out of interceptor missiles from that being used on the, the cheaper Iranian attacks, just to break it down quite simply.

So the potential for further destruction or further impact on US resources, US bases, and so on, if the Iranians start using their more sophisticated military technology alongside that, the Americans are running out of interceptor missiles, we could see some more significant damage in recent days, um, in, um, coming days and weeks on US interests in that region, which does lend to the whole f- concept of power being shifted eastwards and out of the West.

What this war has done is it has given Iran significantly more power than it had before this war began, and Donald Trump is now in a very difficult position where he either backs down, he either admits defeat, he either walks away, which, you know, you don't have to know very much about Donald Trump to know that his ego would really struggle to do that.

Uh, and even if he did, he would spin it, I'm sure, in a way to make it sound like the US had been victorious when they haven't.
