Prior to joining Choctaw High, he has coaching experience at East Central University, Lincoln University in Missouri, Washington State University, and the University of Hawaii.

Along his stops, he's contributed to his teams making bowl appearances, producing NFL draft choices, NFL free agent signees, and multiple all-conference members.
