Islanders @ Maple Leafs - 3rd Period - September 30th, 2026

Well, here's the shot tipped by Marchenko, but it went wide.

I'm not sure he quite got a piece of that as the third period begins here at Scotiabank.

[stick slaps] The tap by Matthews, smart little play to get it up and out.

Now Roslovic across the line hangs on, creating a little bit of space and time for his teammates as it comes back over to Auston Matthews.

Round behind, Roslovic draws in some attention, puts it out front, and Matthews keeps it from going out.

Rielly to the goal, tipped out front by Marchenko, and Sorokin comes up with the save.

Hey, this line has had some moments, haven't they? I mean, you'd like it to be a little more consistent, but they got a little, they seem to be getting a little more swagger every shift.

Oh, Easton Cowan came in there hot.

Now he's got it on the backhand, trying to feed it back out front.

Bo Horvat comes in to knock it around to the near side.

Can't keep it in.

Cowan cuts back, though, on a tight turn and sends it down side of the goaltender on the left.

And they put a stick into it, see if he can get a piece.

Kept out.

Nick Paul wanted to just tap that ahead to Sisson, and that line's been awfully good.

McKenna reels it back in, and then flips it back to McCabe, and they'll work their way back out.

Down into the corner off of Schingard.

Gonna work it back into the middle to Claire.

Sharp pass, Angelo to the goal, but it is up and into the glass.

Now McKenna with some help behind him as he works down the boards, hangs on, gives it up to the blue line, and a big bomb comes from Raddysh, thumps off the pads, and there's another one.

That came off a player out front, and Tavares let, let that one go, and he'll try to get it back into the corner.

Up at the blue line, out to Ritchie, and now the Islanders across the line and deep into the corner.

Uh, they need to change some support.

The centering pass a little too hot potato.

Back the other way it goes.
