Todd Crocker

Yes, man! It's gonna be at 10 o'clock and we can't watch it! Yes! Yes! Yes.

Todd Crocker, get ready, bro.

I'm going to be listening on the radio like it's 1942, man.

Yes.

[rock music] The Nashville Predators in their road whites and the Leafs in their home blues, to your right, get set here on a Tuesday night to bang it around on Scotiabank ice.

Todd Crocker with Jim Ralph, and you see Saros not with us, but on the ice in goal, and Anthony Stolarz on the right for the Leafs.

Even when I played, the starting goalie was never anywhere near me [laughs], so rather comfortable where I've been the last 30 years or so.

Some people surprised that Anthony Stolarz got the start.

[laughs]

... of, like, Rod Black and, you know, Todd Crocker, Gord Stellick, Ken Daniels, all guests of the show.

I'm-

Yeah

Looking at the NHL slate last night, the Toronto Maple Leafs losing 3-2 to the Montreal Canadiens.

We got any Todd Crocker calls? 20 fingers? Let's hear Todd Crocker.

The first goal of the season for the Maple Leafs, it was William Nylander.

Nylander picks it up with the blue line, far side, races in,

He's holding on for dear life out there.

Thanks to Todd Crocker.

[laughs]

Live play call.

And like I said, Joe Bowen retired at the end of last year.

So Todd Crocker was promoted from the Marlies.

I'm working with this season.

you know, you prepare for everything, but if you use more than 10% of your notes, it's an awful game.

We look forward to 10 preseason contests coming our way tonight.

In addition, Todd Crocker, brand new Toronto Maple Leafs radio play-by-play man.

He'll drop by coming up in 90 minutes time.

We'll talk about the Lightning.

to our number two of the show here on a Tuesday.

Scott Laughlin, Gord Stelic, Tyler Mataraz, the big dog, Lucas Critelli.

Todd Crocker's coming up on the program.

New Leafs radio play-by-play man.

Second period about to begin here at the Scotiabank Arena.

Todd Crocker with Jim Ralph.

And just give this to me again.

Oh, yeah.

But listen, man.

So I said last podcast about Todd Crocker getting the leaf job.

Didn't know for sure, but like it came out recently that he did.

I just think it's crazy, personally.

But...

So Bowen's son goes with him.

So he must have been interviewed for the lease job, but they decided to go with Todd Crocker in the booth with Ralphie.

What do you think of that, Jack?
