Another week, more pop culture nonsense to discuss. This week we’re diving into Kelly Clarkson loving AI, Pete Davidson’s hot take on influencers, Taylor Swift’s SNL appearance, the rumored 2027…
And before we get into the show, I had a few things I wanted to chat with you guys about that aren't really, I mean, they're pop culture related, but they're a little more like true crimey.
So I'm just going to like chat about them super quick at the beginning of the show and then we'll get on with it.
But you guys, First and foremost, are you following this lethal injection story? Because I cannot get enough of it.
And she was... supposed to be executed by lethal injection last week uh and she was like the first person in the state and over two first woman excuse me in the state for over 200 years who was going to be executed by lethal injection it was like this whole thing she murdered a girl in her school that she thought was trying to get with her boyfriend like and not just like murdered her like brutally attacked her she carved a pentagram into her chest and then instead of letting her like she said she like wanted to like leave her there and bleed out instead she took a rock threw it at her and then bashed her skull in took a piece of the skull out of her head after she died put it in her pocket and was showing people at school the next day she's a fucking psychopath obviously she was arrested right When she was arrested, there was no remorse.
She literally was more upset that this was happening to her than she actually kills somebody.
And this last week, they were supposed to execute her and they did the first injection.
I don't, I like, How? How did this happen? How do you wait 31 years in a jail cell waiting for execution? And I believe she was originally supposed to be executed by like an electric chair.
I don't know what happened in the case where it switched to lethal injection or like what went down with that.
But I believe originally, don't quote me on this, but it was supposed to be by electric chair and then it pivoted to lethal injection instead.
They're saying because she's a redhead, something with like her chemical makeup is not reacting with the injection properly.
