It's gonna be hosted by the Youngstown Press Club, and the moderator will be club president, uh, Tony Paglia, who is a former reporter and editor.
They thank the Press Club and Youngstown State, you know, for providing an opportunity to voters to get to know them and their policies.
This is the first time any candidates in the nine statewide races have agreed to debate, and that includes the US senator and congressman races as well.
And, and, and we'll have to say as the editorial board, we've been doing endorsement interviews, and none of the Republicans have responded to our request for an interview.
Sherrod Brown has offered to delete John Husted in the Senate race, but there's been no date or confirmation on that.
Democrat Amy Acton refused to debate Vivek Ramaswamy due to his dishonest attack ads, which was a tactical mistake in my opinion.
Secretary of State nominee Allison Russo, the Democrat, she challenged her Republican opponent Robert Sprague if he admitted that Donald Trump lost the 2020 election, which Sprague did in a recent TV interview.
If you're, if you're confident of your ability to articulate your positions, you can overcome lies.
You can point out lies, and you could, with facts in your hand, be the stronger candidate.
