I mean, as far as we, I collaborate in kind of two different ways, whether that's two dance makers together, we often work.
they're always like oh you're on an important call let me come into your space right now
but it's it's interesting and and a challenge to work in tandem with another dance maker this is sort of who's leading who's following and that's something we're navigating and I just co-created a piece with a dancer in my company Lydia Height who used to be my student years ago and now we're you know we're all sort of in this you know even playing field, but then also working, I said, with other kinds of artists, of course, musicians, and it really just more than like, can I use your music? But, you know, can you make music for, for this piece? And that is a very much a back and forth conversation.
I think when, you know, I, I just sort of checks and balances of, am I doing, am I doing it right? What I need someone else to bounce off of, even if it's just, you know, other dancers in the company to offer feedback, you know, it, We're a big company.
And I make a solo, you know, we do some solos and duets, but much of our work is big work, big pieces.
And, you know, I think the more, sometimes the more voices you have in the room, the better to at least be a sounding board.
So yeah, lots of different ways in which we collaborate, which is always helpful.
