Yeah, stuckness.

So a lot of people will say when you're, uh, when there's an apparent journey to attain whatever, right? Stillness, peace, contentment, awakening, liberation, freedom from suffering.

It feels like a journey.

There's all this stuff that you do, these techniques, these people you follow, whether they're gurus or teachers or YouTubers or books or your own sense of direction.

It seems like you're on a journey, and at some point it feels like you get these insights, like, oh, everything is empty of substance, or the self is kind of an illusion, or...

And it, it's just an insight.

It's almost like a, an energetic insight and an intellectual insight.

Like, and it just kinda clicks.

And, uh, and then there's the feeling of, okay, now nothing's happening.

Now I'm stuck.

I'm still suffering.

There's still a sense of me that's fighting everything.

There's still pushing and pulling on reality.

There's, um, a feeling of, I had some clarity, and now it's gone.

And a lot of people will call this stuckness.

And I've, I've definitely, that happened here.

There's this feeling of, I'm stuck.

And then all kinds of heroic actions seemingly are undertaken to free you from the stuckness.

So for me, it was like, let me go on another meditation retreat.

Let me meditate more.

Let me not meditate more.

Let me try psychedelics.

Let me read a different book.

Let me find a different YouTuber that I like and interview them and feel their presence, and all this nonsense.

And that's exactly what the seeking energy, that energy of me, it's exactly what it does because it's never gonna find what it wants.
