Lynn WillisGuestAnd the majority of people decided to come with me for a forest day, didn't we? We did like, you know, I don't know, 12, 30 miles or whatever and finished for a hot tub by 2pm or something.
it just happened.
I don't mean to do it, but just kind of.
It even happened doing paddling, ripping to York.
I don't know what happened.
I thought the second day was 12 miles and it was actually 14.
So that was great.
Never mind, we'll be finished.
It's OS, honestly, you plot it and something weird happens where either my watch is wrong or OS lies to you.
I still don't know which one it is, but anyway.
and yeah so this year in winter and obviously it was the same setup so for anybody listening the winter skills trip is ran out of lock inch and which is some lovely wooden chalets right next to a lock and a couple of hot tubs and the winter instructors that come in are from a company called beyond the edge so nobody within my team are winter are winter mountain leaders and So there's always myself.
And for the past two years, it has been Lewis who has come along and we kind of go alongside the Beyond the Edge guides.
So we are kind of there.
So I'm always with Chris normally and Lewis is in, Lewis is always in the other groups.
This year we just, we had the conditions and we, we just had an awesome first day.
I feel like we were just, you were just like, like, cause you, you practice ice axe arresting and it's basically that is playing in the snow, isn't it? That's like, yes.
super controlled super sort of yeah and we were just getting to slide down mountains all day
yeah that's pretty much all we did was bum slide which I honestly I'm telling you is the key to coming off a mountain if we didn't have to walk down mountains we would all have knees I think we'd be down in like five minutes wouldn't we god i've climbed so many more hills we said that in the how girls we were like if we could just come down another way yeah i agree it's so good um and then we also took on the ridge which I'm not going to pronounce the ridge properly.
