Rod's back again with five more films coming to the Tubi app for October 2026. Let him know if they are worth watching.
I got five topics of movies that I have not seen.
So we'll start with the action category.
And we're going to just go with a 2023 film called 65.
Simple synopsis.
An astronaut crash lands on a mysterious planet.
Only to discover he's not alone.
Ha! God, I've heard about this movie, but I don't know why I haven't checked it out.
I love everything that Beck and Woods does.
I own probably most of it.
So, eh, let's give it a try.
For my next category, it's the comedy category, and I've got 2003's Hollywood Homicide, which I guess this could be an action comedy, maybe, but stars Harrison Ford and Josh Hartnett.
Synopsis, two LAPD detectives who moonlight in other fields investigate the murder of an up-and-coming rap group.
Uh...
Next category is a drama category, and it's from 2018.
All right, all right, all right.
The synopsis on this one is the story of a teenager, Richard Wersh Jr., who became an undercover informant for the FBI during the 1980s and was ultimately arrested for drug trafficking and sentenced to life in prison.
Yeah!
