Paul and Mike go scorched earth after one of the most frustrating Dallas Cowboys performances of the season. Dallas fell 23-13 to Green Bay, but the final score barely tells the story. The Cowboys…
Mike PolandHostAnd if I can summarise what is going on with the Dallas Cowboys right now, it's embarrassing embarrassing it is and we're not going to sugarcoat it tonight we're going to go full scorched earth on this show tonight like we've had time to process what happened we've had time to relook and see what the problems were and frankly embarrassing is the best way to describe it Going back to what that employee said, he summed that right up perfectly back at that Tampa Bay game.
So the Dallas Cowboys lost 23 to 13 against Green Bay at Lambeau Field on primetime football on Sunday night, which was Monday morning for us here in the UK, which we had to stay up till 4.30 in the morning.
and hence you can see me and mike's eyeballs right now are a little bit still recovering well especially me in particular because i'm still recovering from the jet lag from coming back from dallas so but yeah man i don't know about you mike just when you think things couldn't get any worse it did it really did
I mean, it's, and in my defence, I am actually going to speak up for the defence in this one.
Not so much the secondary, because the secondary, I'm going to, like, we can say injuries, whatever, and that, yeah, bad.
They actually stepped up and actually created sacks, tackles for losses and interceptions in this game.
And also they kept Green Bay down to, I think it was under 50 yards or something like that.
I can't remember the specific, but under 22, 23 rushing attempts for 2.2 yards in that region.
I don't have the full statistics on me right now, but either way, the defensive line and the linebackers, especially in the run game, stepped up and we actually made some impact in the passing game.
mike i don't know about you i am sick of this whole gotti greatest offense there is when you can't put points on the board for two quarters of a game where green base defense are completely weakened in multiple positions and they're playing their backups and we can't seem to do anything about it now whether it's on the players, but I blame sorely on the coaching staff on this one.
He has to take full responsibility on this, right? There was lack of imagination, a lack of creativity to make these play calls.
And we were too predictable, sticking to stop routes, like stop and goes, curl routes, you name it.
and and when you look at it as well i mean that was what 80 of the passing attempts were and not just that not not just that mate 54 passing attempts 54 passing attempts how many
