And there's these threads when I listen to these stories from so many people, there's these like common threads that show up over and over that, you know.
health crisis or mental health crisis being the kind of gateway back into a spirituality that we innately knew when we were little, even if we didn't have the words for it, the language for it.
And then...
Personally, as you spoke about the healers training and it being a space for you to learn about you and try to heal and grow there, that was very much how I also entered into it.
It was like, I don't know.
I didn't even believe in energy healing when I signed up.
I was just, I knew Nadine.
She was a midwife.
I was a midwife.
I was in crisis.
She understood better than anyone could.
Like I was seeing a therapist.
She was lovely, but she didn't understand.
I couldn't go in and say- You know, I was at three births this week and one of them ended up in the NICU and whatever else.
And Nadine, she just knew.
And so I was like, I don't know what this like woo energy stuff is, but I need to sit at this woman's feet.
Like that was the call for me.
And for both of us, through slightly different paths, it did blossom into this place of being able to turn around and share the gifts that we discovered together.
While there in some way or another, it surprises me not in the least that you ended up with animals.
The fact that that wasn't just clear to you.
Now I'm like, why didn't I say something

Like that's the thing I look back and I think like I could have been doing this at 25 when I had my initial health crisis and I looked at my life and said, This isn't the life that brings me joy.
