Apple TV's new horror comedy, Widow's Bay, led the way at the 2026 Emmy Awards, winning a leading 14 trophies out of 19 nominations.

Across Monday's Primetime Ceremony and last weekend's Creative Arts Awards, it won for Best Comedy Series, Lead Comedy Actor for Matthew Rhys, who made history as a double winner for limited series The Beast in Me, Supporting Actress for Kate O'Flynn, Supporting Actor for Stephen Root, Writing for creator K.B. Dippold, and Directing for Hiro Murai.

HBO's medical drama, The Pit, followed with seven awards out of 25 nominations.
