Robina Abramson-WallingHostYeah, I think it's really interesting that you bring that up because I feel like when you are building businesses, working for a corporation and you're working from a place of dysregulation, you're working from a place of survival, you're working from a place of scarcity, you're working from a place of disconnection, you're working from a place of where like you're literally just, you know, a lot of people I find are just going through the motions.
And the work that I do, what I notice in my clients is they come from these really high stress backgrounds and then it puts the body in dis-ease because they're in these states for so long.
And so what's really interesting to me is like you saw yourself in a perspective where it was more preventative or Even I see where I'm headed.
And so how can we flip the script a little bit? You know, and that's the whole premise of this entire podcast is really letting people hear other people's stories and then seeing themselves in it and then really flipping their own script and creating a new blueprint for what it looks like to be successful.
So when you know that you've made that switch and you know you sounded like you've really thought it through, really and truly, what do you think would have been the barrier for you if you didn't take this risk?
I have to say, number one, there have been many times up until probably the last year when I've said to myself, oh my goodness, what did I do? And is there recourse with this? And do I go back? Right? Because you always think like that.
Maybe walking around in yoga pants all day long is not what it was that I wanted to do.
And then you start to hear from students and you start to hear from other people.
But when people start to tell you, wow, what you said or how we moved or how we breathe was so beneficial.
I want to bring, you know, my friend, my husband, my partner to class, to a yoga nidra session, etc.
Again, there have been so many times I cannot even tell you where it was like, how am I going to be able to do this? How am I going to be able to sustain this business? I love
that you're saying that because I think this is something that entrepreneurs do not talk about.
The fear and the amount of time, especially when you're building something new.
I know you're building an app and you're creating a platform and you're creating a resource.
And it's so scary when you're building it because you don't have the resources.
