🔥 Whitespark Local Ranking Grids This week, Darren Shaw is joined by special guest Amy Toman to break down the local SEO stories you need to know…
Amy TomanGuestYou've got a lot of service area businesses where if you check on a ranking grid, you can see that they're ranking totally not where they're supposed to.
So anyways, the way it works is you go to the listing on maps and you add this little code.
I have after but it's like exclamation 10 m2 x it's just like a chunk of code you add that into the url after data equals and then you press enter and you're going to get this new little panel that i've never seen before that gives you these options you're gonna it's got wrong pin location or address missing place add or fix a road also interesting wrong information or your opinions about maps you tell them what you think So it's got those options.
So I noticed that it wouldn't work if I am doing it, if I go directly to a listing on Maps.
But I do find that if you're a really high-level local guy, you can often get your edits approved.
And the huge question for me is, could you use this to fix an SAB that currently has their pin in the wrong place? Common problem right now, the only fix for that is you've got to create a brand new Google business profile.
But maybe you could use this little hack to actually move the pin and then you don't have to go through all that trouble.

Because what was it? I think it was a couple of years ago where we had the pins were moved too easily.
I don't want to talk about it because I don't want the hackers to be messing around.
