good morning church Just quickly before we kind of start rolling here, I've been thinking this morning about the concept of love that's been talked about all the time.
And as I've been thinking about what we're talking about here, love is self-sacrificial and we'll get into that a little bit shortly.
He made us for relationship because he loves us.
It's reconciliation relationship stuff.
Why is that an issue? Because it's a breakdown of relationship.
It's selfish, not self-giving.
And marriage is a way that we get to experience the joy and the challenges of self-sacrificial love.
And so we're going to do that today.
We've got the privilege of talking about marriage.
And I'm very aware that as soon as you stand up to talk about marriage, then you become a little showcase at the same time, which is really great because we get the opportunity to try to speak and not annoy each other at the same time.
It's really hard.
That's a me problem.
Yeah.
And the reality is this week, and we've been thinking about this for a while, but leading into this week, Our marriage, the tension points in our relationship have been pushed.
It's been tough.
And we talk to other people who are involved in Marriage Week and they're finding the same thing.
He really likes relationship.
He's all about reconciling relationship and the devil hates it.
So we need to think about that and pray about it.
And we're slow learners and we forget to pray about these things before they happen.
