Shasta

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

And the horse and his boy, Shasta and Aravis are the two of the characters.

And at the end of it, he says, and years from then, Shasta and Aravis got married so they could fight and make up more conveniently.

Thought that was great.

That's excellent.

Okay.

So, in it, Shasta is the breaker of horses.

Not that Bree gets broken, so...

Shasta is true, does not break Bree in the literal sense of taming him.

He is already a great warhorse.

Nonetheless, Shasta is a horse boy who acquires, quote, a true horseman's seat and who breaks Bree's pride and self-conceit.

And here's a quote from Bree when Bree is ashamed that he shrank back from the battle.

Bree says, at least Shasta ran in the right direction, ran back.
