I think when people start talking about mental health, people get afraid, like, well, well, what if we open this like full like Pandora's box and people get scared? People start saying, we hate it here.
And what if they say the big S word? Suicide, right? I do think there's that fear.
When you actually talk about mental health issues in the workplace and you talk about mental health, well-being and you provide supports and structure and change things so that people have better mental health, then it actually is preventative, right? But I do think there's that fear.
And I wonder because you've been through, you've been to so many organizations, you've been to so many workplaces and spoken and worked with so many leaders.
I wonder if you've seen that where it's like this inner fear or this unresolved pain in that person and that leader that where they also don't want to open up their mental health issues.

And again, back to that life cycle of an employee ROI, if you want to hold on to that piece of it, you get to keep more employees.
