Hey Fangsters and Vamp ‘Casters! Within this episode of the podcast Lara. Billie, and Mark are back with their coverage of the Vampire Lestat Season 1 Episode 6 “Montreal”. Listen to them discuss…
So do we have initial thoughts for the episode, Lara? Yeah.
I do.
I think this is...
I sound like a broken record, but every episode gets better.
It's like we got up to the top of the rollercoaster early on in this series, and then we have just been tumbling downward the whole time, and it's not a good thing.
I mean, it's not a bad thing.
It's...
It's emotional.
It's an emotional roller coaster.
And it's so much fun.
I've been having so much fun this season.
And I thought this episode was great because it starts off kind of feeling like a rom-com.
And then it moves into like supernatural space.
And then at the end, it becomes like a slasher thriller.
So excellent, excellent episode.
Awesome.
I can mirror that sentiment a lot.
We both are huge Anne Rice fans, but as a huge Anne Rice fan, I am blown away with their commitment to making sure that the spirit of the story is told correctly.
Also, I want to say, I asked an acquaintance in Montreal if they celebrate Halloween like we do, and he said yes.
So one of the things I was kind of grumbling about was, do they even do that in Canada? And so he confirmed for me that yes, they do celebrate Halloween with trick-or-treating in Canada, especially in Montreal.
So I was like, okay, that's fine.
But this episode...
this episode was everything.
I think we needed like the, I've already seen the finale.
I'm sure you've already seen the finale.
