Creator Summit Recap and what's next for Unraid with Alex and Ed (SpaceInvaderOne)

So the Creator Summit, if you're not familiar, is hosted by 45 Drives, I think every year.

I think this is the fourth one they've done now.

Previously it was up in Sydney, in Nova Scotia, but recently they just opened a facility down in Wilmington, in North Carolina.

So the Creator Summit this year was down in Wilmington.

And there were a bunch of creators down there, a bunch of industry professionals and things like that.

There were people from school districts talking about how they use 45 drive servers in their school districts.

There was a bunch of people there talking about how they use AI and stuff like that, which we'll come on to with Ed shortly because he gave a public talk about local AI, which was really, really great.

But in today's video, we want to talk a little bit about Creator Summit and things like that.

But also what you can expect from this Unraid channel, the Uncast channel moving forward as well.

Because we've seen a few comments, haven't we, of like, oh, Alex is here.

Does that mean Ed's going away? And we kind of wanted to assuage some of those concerns today if we can.

Yeah, so I've got some very, very nice help on the channel.

Alex here to bring some extra content

for you guys.

Some extra British sarcasm.

So you can

listen to two people with funny accents now.

Something like that, yeah.

I mean, we both come at the Unraid space from different angles.

I mean, Ed's been around in the space for a long time, as you all know.

I've been an Unraid user off and on for many years myself.

And so between us, I think we'll complement each other quite nicely on the channel.

And there's certainly no ego with Ed at all.

He's just a really great guy to work with.

And I think we'll fill each other's gaps pretty nicely.
