Trish ReganHost
You've got the number two executive, the number two executive at Disney right now, uh, coming out and at a, a Bloomberg event saying that she, she's just not gonna answer this question about whether or not Jimmy Kimmel's staying at ABC.

And I just have to tell you, in television speak, like that is not a good endorsement.

And do not forget, it was the New York Post who, about a month ago or so, told us, "This guy is done.

This guy is out." Well, now they got a big headline today basically saying, "Ha, you know, what did we, what did we tell you?" Disney's number two executive gives telling clue about Jimmy Kimmel's future at ABC.

I don't know if we'd call him the producer 'cause I think that he may actually have his own production company, but they are the ones that basically put that show on the air every night.

Lucky you, coming through your federally-owned airwaves right through the tube to you, Jimmy Kimmel's show.

Well, on Thursday there was this Bloomberg conference, and Dana was asked whether ABC was gonna renew Kimmel's contract, and her answer was this, and I quote, "I'm not going to make that announcement here with you today." Okay, so now before you say, "Oh, well, Trish, that's nothing," I'm gonna tell you again, in television you do not say something like that.

I mean, unless negotiations are going that badly, unless you want him out on the street today, like you, you just don't say that.

Because the person who controls the creative side of the company i, is not gonna say, you know, w- "I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna comment on that." Th- they're gonna say like, "We love Jimmy.

Jimmy signed a one-year extension last December, and it keeps him behind the desk for a little while, right? Uh, [laughs] we'll see.

He reportedly, I don't know if this is true, but he, according to some internet reports, makes $16 million a year.

[coughs] Let me cough again, okay? [coughs] Because that's 16 million for this guy, way too many.
