He's the former special counsel who brought two, not one, but two federal cases against Donald Trump.

One was January 6th in the 2020 election, and the other was, oh, those documents at Mar-a-Lago.

For some reason, they found it incredibly necessary to go after Donald Trump for those documents when Joe Biden was keeping them in the garage right next to the Corvette, and had them there for years and years and years, and nobody seemed to care because, well, he was basically a senile old man at that point.

Well, the cases against Trump, because now there's a case against one Jack Smith, and that is why today he was sitting there in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee with Republicans bringing him in to basically re-litigate whether, you know, those, those allegations are in fact true, that he was spying.

There's something like 44 members of Congress that were allegedly spied upon, and he was gathering metadata on, and then he was trying to map out the whole MAGA movement somehow because if you, as a reporter, they're saying that journalists were involved in this as well, got any calls or any texts or any communication with any of these members of Congress, then you got wrapped into this whole thing, too.

I mean, this is a big deal, right? And if he did this knowingly, knowingly going after members of Congress and then, let's just say, hiding the truth in the days after, then that actually carries a fine and a sentence of up to five years.

Okay, so just to back up, J- Jack Smith, back in December of 2025, was out there testifying under oath behind closed doors in the House, so I don't have any video to show you, but I can tell you that lawmakers did ask him about his phone records that he was gathering.

Arctic Frost, it's the code name that they used during the Biden era probe when they were going after Trump and people around him after the 2020 election.

Smith later took that work over as special counsel, and Jack Smith told all the Republicans who were asking at the time in December of '25, told them that the records that his office is, was seeking, right? That those were actually called toll records, and it was metadata, and they were looking at who called whom, when they called them, how long the call lasted, and they s- or Jackie said, "We weren't actually looking at the words.
