Your, your answer touches on one thing that I did wanna talk about at some point, if you were willing, and that is balancing [laughs], you know, here we go, balancing the family and career aspect, because you are very...
I mean, with your Instagram postings and knowing you personally, I know you are just such an amazing father, uh, and husband and family man, in addition to all of your career prowess.
See, and that's, I'm an, especially in all of that, I mean, as you know, I am the father of two small girls so far, and, um-I just, I regularly think back to a time when I was coming up in the world of classical music, which I think no, no longer is such a prevalent mindset.
But people, some outright said to me there was no way to have a family and have a career.
Some outright said to me there was no way to even just have a marriage, much less children, and have a career.
Um, and even if they didn't outright say that, there was definitely a vibe in the air during the time when I was, you know, a young artist, quote-unquote, that, that just seemed like I had to choose, you know, all in on the career or much less just music even without a career, or the piano especially.
You see all these people that are like, "I chained myself to my piano for 10 da-" or like, "My true wife is the piano." I'm like, "Well, you might need some psychological help." Um, because life is just so much more than that, and I love music, and I love piano.
And I love anytime somebody, especially at your, you know, level, but any level really, who clearly have figured out how to achieve some sort of balance.
Or if you haven't figured it out even, you're doing it, and y- you're showing that it's possible, and you're posting about the fact that it's possible.
And I just hope that anybody who's an up-and-coming young artist these days, uh, I hope that mindset has shifted, and that people see that it's possible.
