Why do we willingly choose hardship? What if the secret to fulfillment is in embracing discomfort — not avoiding it? Most of us drown in ease: food delivered, entertainment at every turn, comfort as…
today and what I ask is all a question that sounds really really simple why do we do why do we do hard things why do we do hard things not why do we have to but why do we choose to why do athletes willingly wake up before sunrise to go out the door to train why do people sign up for marathons knowing that they're going to suffer why does somebody spend years trying to qualify for a competition that only a handful of people will ever win why would anybody all turned, put themselves through discomfort.
Because if we're being honest, I suppose modern life was made of avoiding hard and difficult things very easy.
You know, food arrives at our door, door dash, all these other things.

Comfort's everywhere.

Tired, till we feel up in our ass.
If we're uncomfortable, we escape.
But despite all that, and having more convenience than any generation before us, so many people feel unfulfilled.
Or less fulfilled.
And I don't think that's a coincidence.
I think there's something built into us that creates challenge.
Not because suffering is the goal, but because growth is.
And why I genuinely believe That your willingness to embrace discomfort might be one of the biggest predictors of the life that you'll build.
So let's get into it.
