And it's really no secret what we do.
On Saturday morning, I woke up pretty early, like normal school time at 6 a.m. We had to meet at the school at 7.30 and the entire class.
And we took two buses, big, large buses down to...
I think the town that we started the retreat on is called Orting, Orting, Washington.
And we start the first part of the retreat, which is a seven-mile hike They call it a hike, but it's basically a long walk along a bike path.
It's a very flat bike path.
It's the type of bike path that you would do a half marathon race on, asphalt, paved, flat.
And so there was actually a half marathon and marathon race going on at the same time.
It was very small and local.
So we had to be very careful about how much of the bike path we were using.
But That was most of the first day was we started the hike maybe about 9.30 or 10 a.m. And we had different challenges throughout to talk to different people.
We stopped to eat lunch at scenic places in nature.
So you had to bring your own lunch.
And that was super fun.
That was a super fun part of the retreat.
I got to talk to some people that I hadn't talked to in a long time and people that I don't normally talk to.
And that was really fun.
And then we went out to this campsite.
I used to go to public school at John Hay when I was in kindergarten to fifth grade.
And this was like two weeks before COVID started.
