PRAISE THE SUN! This week! The boys are joined by Mr. Puzzles Dane Himself to chat about his favorite game, the winner of a recent discord listener poll, Dark Souls! Did we thrive in the madness? Or…
Yeah
...
the game of the episode? All righty.
Let me pull over the wake of booty of bullshit and read through-
Yeah
... real quick.
This was a poll winner.
Dark Souls is a 2011 action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Namco Bandai Games.
It is the first game in the Dark Souls series, and a spiritual s- successor to FromSoft's Demon's Souls, which itself was a spiritual successor to the King's Field games.
Gameplay centers on exploration, deliberate combat, character customization, online interactions including messages, cooperative play, and invasions, and knocking your dick into the dirt.
Does it actually say that in the last part?
No, I added that last bit.
Oh, okay.
[laughs] I- Nate mentioned, uh, a Quentin Tarantino joke about this game.
I don't remember specifically what it was.
And I said, "Funny enough, I have a similar thing, uh, that I know of Dark Souls to regale on the episode." So I don't remember if I told this on Steam Machine or if I told it on Media Dump.
Either way, I'm gonna talk about it again.
And it says, "Streamer banned for streaming Dark Souls on her feet." And I'm like, "What?" So she called her stream Dark Soles, S-O-L-E-S, and she green screened her, the soles of her feet and had the gameplay playing on that.
Which is kind of genius.
So when you watch-
Which is fucking brilliant.
It's fucking brilliant.
