Dark Souls II

Because I was really fond of Dark Souls.

I played Dark Souls 2 and enjoyed that, and played Dark Souls 3 and enjoyed that, but not quite so much.

And as the Souls-likes, more and more of them rolled out, I became less and less...

I found them less and less enjoyable to the point that when Elden Ring came along, I didn't even end up finishing it.

I'm thinking...

Dark Souls 2, obviously.

And I don't know if it belongs in the same tier as Demon's Souls Remake.

Because I've been playing Demon's Souls Remake.

It's a tricky one.

Demon's Souls is...

Much tighter than Dark Souls 2.

But I think for next... next turbo ween next october i think i need to convince him to do start doing a couple of castlevania games in there see if any are on

i i almost guarantee something the night will be on his um 100 greatest games if it's not then i already questioned who made that list anyway because why the fuck's dark souls 2 and bloodborne on there

um it's made by various magazine people I need to double check his poster as well because I did a playlist on the YouTube channel the other day of just like I should probably just stop putting all these goddamn bucket list games like in his own playlist and I'm not sure based on my description if a flashback's on there but I'm not sure if Another World is on there And the description sort of indicated that it was, but it would be really weird to have both in the top 100 across the entirety of things just to have Flashback and Another World.

on this thing well speaking of that I was kind of waiting to do Dark Souls 2 until I had enough time where I could as you will probably know I tried to help Turbo as much as I could through Bloodborne and I would say I did successfully get him through it a lot quicker thank you for reminding me of that actually where's my spreadsheet But I was waiting for Dark Souls 2 and now I have to wait longer because FromSoftware have just announced they're closing the servers for Dark Souls 2 and 3 temporarily.

And I got into Dark Souls a little late.

I started with Dark Souls 2, went back, played Dark Souls 1, and then Bloodborne came out.

And that was like the first new from software game since I started to get into it.

And I loved... how much the game does not give a shit about you being able to understand what's going on, where stuff is, how to progress, how to do things, because it felt like I'm actually going into Yharnam and having to poke around, figure out my purpose within this world.

These are insane things that this video game is gonna make us do and we're all gonna get on a list and we're all gonna be taken away halfway into this recording.

Okay, so rally system, blood vials.

I was a coward in Dark Souls 1 and Dark Souls 2.

I had my shield up, you know, 100%, all that kind of stuff.

So that's continuing.

And yeah, unfortunately, didn't get to wrapping up Onimusha and DS2 just yet because of schedule.

But we'll be taking a look at those in the coming streams.

And then up next, I'm not sure when we'll get a chance to do it, but it'll be more Dark Souls 1 with Dylan.

And then him and I are eventually going to cover Dark Souls 2 and 3.

I'm not sure when we'll be able to get to it because work has just ramped up even more.

But after, I mean, then there's going to be the movie and there's still more Elden Ring content.
