So this is definitely where all of my work came from, is back in 2017, I actually found my journal from 2017, and had all these pages where I, like, wrote the word light.

And I didn't know at the time what it meant, and I definitely did not know how to achieve it.

Because also in that journal were a lot of, like, habit trackers, and the word discipline kept coming up over and over.

Like, all of the really traditional kinda masculine ways we've been taught of how you achieve a goal.

[laughs] So now, eight-plus years later, I've realized that it's not just around, like, feeling light, but it's also around how you get there.

So I believe feeling light, after working with a lot of different women in this, like, what does that actually mean to us, doing a ton of research, looking at words that are used along with light or that kind of come up with it, that I believe there's six sort of categories to feeling light.

And for most people, when they think of times where they're like, "Yes, I felt light then," one or all of these categories are represented, and those categories are joy, gratitude, calm, making progress, feeling confident, and then feeling fully alive.

I have a feelings wheel, which I'm sure you'll share, that has, like, a ton of words associated with all of these, and it's just a great way to describe situations where you felt light or situations where you're like, "Yes, this is how I want to actually feel." Like, for me in this season right now- Feeling sparkly is, you know, that to me is very like summer, right? Like feeling sparkly-

Some of these like words that you're like, "Yes, like that's actually how I wanna feel."

So I think that it's not something that like feeling light doesn't look the exact same way for every person-

It's really something that can change, and I think reflecting on that and being like, "Yes, I did feel light in this scenario." Back in 2017, the only scenario I could think of where I was like, "This is how I want my life to feel," is being on vacation when you walk into a beautiful hotel room, everything's like bright and sparkly, there's sun coming in, and you only have like what you need.
