The only A.I. we should be celebrating is Allen Iverson! GO ALLEN IVERSON —--------------------- Want more 7th Valkyrie? Check out our Patreon to become a Hero of Edara, where you can shape the…
Some of you guys are going to go, why? What? And there's an important emotional story behind that.
First of all, the fact that I'm kind of against the whole overwhelming eradication of our society via AI and turning everything into slop, I'm not strong with that in terms of my principles.
Consciously, I know that AI is, especially when it comes to generating images and generating quote-unquote artwork, it's theft.
And people all across, artists across the globe are suddenly dealing with the fact that it's like, I never gave my permission for people to be turning my images and my soul and my hard work into into something for their own.
And at first I was using an AI thing that had only scraped public domain images, but now the world's gotten so crazy that it's just like nobody gives a shit about copyright anymore.
Through all of this, I knew that, but because I started this journey of creating the AI artwork before the models got really strong and before we kind of knew about how the sausage was made, I can't put in words the level of sheer glee and joy and actualization it was to see this adventure come to life visually.
Because I've told the story and these characters have been in my brain and these worlds and exploration and characters and people and creatures have been kicking around in my brain for so long.
And to be able to sit there and do that, like, it lifted my spirit in a way that I have rarely felt.
But I sit here now, and as tempting as it is to see your work turned into an image, I don't want to resort to theft to get there.
I've been working with some artists, and when the time is right, we will... open up the book again about bringing in handmade, true creative human art to be a part of the 7th Valkyrie.
And if at any point you guys are out there and you're an amateur artist and you want to get featured, just let me know.
And if you had a sketch or a drawing or something that you felt inspired by listening to this, then let me know.
And I'm going to slowly be whittling away and moving all of the AI stuff forward to an archive of my dream slop that everybody can look at if you're a patron, but nobody has to, and we won't be using it to sell the series anymore.
Anyway, so that was a big decision, and if you look in the feed, I also cleaned the feed up a lot, so it should be a lot easier to recommend to your friends now.
