On Monday of last week, which was the 17th, we returned two extremely important players back to the lineup, Vinny Pasquantino and Michael Garcia.
Vinny, for the most part, had not been very good this year.
He was really, really bad in April and May.
He was really, really bad in April and May, and then he was starting to get better until he got hurt, and then when he came back from getting hurt, he was definitely playing a little better.
But there still, there still wasn't any power there, essentially.
Then he got hurt again, and that brings us to last Monday when he returned to the lineup.
It seemed like we had the whole gang back together.
Everybody was playing their best.
Jack is peaking.
Bobby is Bobby.
It's all going great.
Then Michael pulled his hamstring for the second time this year, although the opposite hamstring, on Thursday, and it's a grade one plus this time, I guess, which essentially means he's gonna be out until probably at least the last week of September.
So that was really depressing, not only because he's my favorite player to watch on the Royals, but it just seems like, it seems like every time things start to flow this year, something terrible happens, and it's usually injury related.
Oh, well.
But the thing about that is right after Michael got hurt, it didn't stop us from continuing to win.
We then won the next five games after that.
Yeah, we were at home.
It's all very exciting.
