I heard from an old friend the other day. She sent me a brief video of a fella stating something powerful. It moved me to tears. It hit me right where I live. *His message? “Some people don’t realize…
So, point of this episode today is I have another idea.
I have something that I might start doing.
I'm already in the queue planning on traveling the country when we can afford a... small rv for me and mrs mouthy one that would fit mouthy mooch maybe even one of our adult children if they ever want to take a leg of the trip with us so ideally it would need to sleep three plus mooch and uh small enough though where i can maneuver it easier where it doesn't cost a goddamn fortune for fuel i'm already worried about that we're gonna have to see what these insane gas prices are like thanks asshole trump uh by the time spring comes around um i'm hoping we keep getting um a little bit of donations i try not to post about that too much i just put it at the end of every podcast episode and i figure if people see it cool someone donated um i think 100 bucks uh the other day and if you did that thank you so much i appreciate you guys it's already in the savings account i As soon as the payout hits on it, I transfer it to an account that is just for the RV.
And we're getting reasonably close to, I think, $3,000.
This is funny.
We had a $2,500 donation to it, and it turned out that was a mistake.
They meant to do $2,500 with a .00.
Forgot the point, and there you go.
So it had cleared.
I had their money, and I decided, okay, well... obviously i'm going to do the right thing i'm not that person that would be like tough you gave me 2500 bucks and now you're out of luck no i instantly refunded it to them um they did a 25 donation which was intended originally and there you go so that did set us back like now we're and i appreciate because you know i appreciate their uh kindness absolutely But, you know, you think you're getting 25 towards it, and then it goes away for most of 99% of it.
You're like, all right, well, you know, it's the way it goes.
I would want somebody to do that for me if I fucked up and sent like a $5,000 donation instead of $50.
Um, and not everybody would do that.
So I'm not like, you know, tooting my own horn, but I was just raised to do the right thing.
And obviously I'm just that person.
I'm going to do that.
So, uh, yeah, but again, someone did a hundred the other day and that was, brings us closer to, I think, uh, 2,900, which will next stop three, three grand for the savings for the RV, the mouthy mobile, as I like to call it.
Uh, that is something though, that was the next big thing that I really want to do.
I feel like I could grow this a lot more if I had, um, A travel vlog vlog.
I don't know how you say that.
He'd go.
He used to film videos in the 80s as a teenager, and now he shares them on all his platforms.
