Republic FC picked up three points with a 1–0 win over Detroit City, but the same questions around the attack remain. The Quail Call crew reviews the Detroit performance, Sacramento’s continued…
Uh, for myself, I was at the game.
I, um, had been critical of the team as far as lack of finishing.
And I, I think I kind of agree with Coach Collins that it wasn't a lack of finishing in this game.
You know, he kept them in the game.
Um, Timmer's goal was well taken.
We were very dangerous on the set pieces.
Um, didn't get much out of our forwards.

Um, gave us some opportunities which, again, we didn't capitalize on but one.
But I think it's a good sign going forward.
I tend to look at trends, and we've been hard on the team dropping a lot of points even though they've been, you know, unbeaten over, was it five games or so? Um, but when I looked at the overall league, Hartford's been hot.
They've won seven straight.
But beyond that, Sac Republic scored nine points out of the last 15, which is, uh, among the best.
So I think we could be turning a corner.
Again, we're gonna be facing a San Antonio team that, um, is not doing that great, although they are slightly above us on the table right now.
I think it's imperative that we get a three points there because we will have some harder games against, uh, New Mexico and El Paso later on in the season that, uh, we really can't count on getting a whole lot out of at this point.
Maybe when we get there we will.
But I was really happy to see...
