Someone else was reaching out for advice on dealing with the loss of their soul pet.

I started listening immediately because I am hoping to get some help with the loss I have recently had of my sweet angel, Alistair.

"So where to start? Alistair was a beautiful blue Russian kitten when he first came to me and now my ex in September of 2025.

Alistair became obsessed with me and not with my ex as he wanted, so when we eventually split up, I was able to keep him as my own.

Alistair was always looking to be in my skin, curled up as close as he could get.

His favorite spot was to make biscuits in my hair as we laid down in bed.

Both he and his brother had to always be touching me to have the best naps possible.

So fast-forward to when I got Alistair vaccinated.

He had what's called an overreactive lymph node, which can be normal to have after getting vaccines, so my doctor and I ruled it out and weren't too worried about it.

So let's fast-forward to the last three weeks.

The first week was the end-- at the end of April.

I had put off getting my boy neutered due to a freak of him having complications later on in life." Little did-

I think she meant fear there.
