Matt and Ant open the TPP Performance Project Podcast with the stories they don't usually lead with. the kitchens, the drinking, the grief, the moment each of them decided to stop outrunning their…
Yeah, I think this will really, if you have been thinking about getting coached at the Performance Project, this will really give you an insight of who you're going to relate to and who you're not going to relate to.
Because very much like Georgia and I, Ant and I are oil and water, but oil and water that works together.
So I think it'll be interesting for the listeners to get to know you and then like, get their own depiction of our personalities.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And I think with the, I guess with the rate that we're growing at the moment as well, obviously we've got Zoe on board.
I feel like Zoe's like a good mixture of like both of us.
Yeah, she kind of is, yeah.
Put together.
She's kind of like the...
She's got your kind of like directness, but she's also got that kind of like empathetic element to her as well.
So she's kind of got the best of both of us, I think is the best way to put
it.
Well, we'll have to figure it out.
All the worst of both is actually, that's a very good point.
We'll either have to find a way to get Zoe onto this podcast, where there's three of us, or we'll have to start another podcast with Zoe, and then that'll start getting out of hand.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
But yeah, guys, we wanted to...
This first episode is just a bit of an introduction of...
If Beyond the Feud initial line listeners come over, you obviously know me, but new listeners, who I am, who Ant is, and I guess the overarching concept of this podcast is...
Not so much the traditional coaching podcast where we're going to break down a topic and go, this is Zone 2 training and we're going to spend 40 minutes talking about the ins and outs of Zone 2.
We're more going to break it down from the way we coach it, the way we teach our athletes it, the way we implement it for different athletes.
So you'll still get that educational coaching side of it, but it's not going to be the textbook coaching regurgitated what everyone else says just in their own way.
I think what we're going to do is show you how it's implemented real world and our own takes, wins, losses, mistakes we've made that we've learned from and then implemented with different athletes and just a little bit of a different flavor.
A bit more human is probably the best word to say it, rather than kind of the content that you see online.
