Send us Fan Mail We're back from our annual summer hiatus with another game from "Down Under." This modern take on the point-and-click genre from…
Let's

They did the writing, design, programming, art, and all that stuff.
This game was built...
This is kind of a unique thing.
The game was built using an engine or a tool developed by Lloyd called PowerQuest.
Yeah, they have their own game engine.
Yes.
Very similar to... to the scum engine i mean for me mentally i'm thinking like oh um the lucas arts people made the scum engine for their point and click games yeah and here powerhoof has made power quest and it's specifically for creating 2d point and click adventure games and they have released it for free Like anyone can download this tool set and make their own point and click game.
And I think that's a really cool thing.
Anyone might be an exaggeration because, well, you know, you're with, it's still a game engine.
Yeah.
I mean, it's, you still, there's still a lot of work to it.
but nonetheless, a cool thing to do.
A very cool idea, yeah.
They've been developing this game for about six years, it sounds like.
Yeah, I guess it started as kind of a game jam concept, but grew into a full-length product.
Yeah.
It feels weird to call a game a product, but...
Yeah, and they've also been doing, if you're interested in this sort of thing, they have a PowerHoofTV YouTube channel where David himself breaks everything down in their development cycle.
The man himself.
I think they have
like 19 episodes now.
Wow.
