But we were just talking before we started recording and you said you already miss it.
Yeah, I actually kind of enjoy it.
I don't watch a lot of soccer games.
Darian's more of the soccer guy.
And he'll always message me like, dude, tune in to Man United versus Chelsea right now.
And the champion's like, I don't care, dude.
I'm not doing that.
And so when the World Cup came on, I was like, eh.
I think the first game I turned on was Argentina versus Algeria.
And Messi scored in like 10 minutes.
And I messaged the group chat.
I was like, Messi's the GOAT.
And then they called back for offsides.
And I was like, dude, I hate soccer so much.
And I just turned it off.
I was so done with it.
But I didn't really care until the group stages.
Or no, after the group stages were over.
It was like the 32, I think it was the final 32. so or like knockout round and so then i started watching a little bit more and i got to like some of the france games and the spain games and i was like man these are kind of entertaining to watch not a lot of goals scored which is boring but like it's kind of entertaining to watch and then we got to the final argentina versus spain and it was like 107 minutes without a goal and i was like this is why we need american football back i do miss the world cup a little bit i think i think the atmosphere was cool and seeing a lot of like the fans from other countries like Norway, they had like, their fans were going to like the Mets games and stuff and they were doing like the row and stuff.
Even though the Mets were getting absolutely murdered, they didn't care.
They were just happy to be here.
So it was like, it was so cool to see all the fans that were just in America enjoying the pastimes and all that.
I think that was really cool.
