It's about, you know, what can I learn? What can I do? Where can I go? What can I experience in that time of life? And then we meet a gal or a guy.
having a home having babies building a family and in order to do that well we have to pay the bills we need a career we need stability we need health care we need retirement like we need all of these things and in that messy middle of life we lose our sense of self and our grasp on our own health So through the 30s and 40s, what happens? You start working more, you exercise less, you eat more based upon convenience and comfort.
You stop doing the things that you should be doing to enhance your health, your fitness, your athleticism, your body composition, because you're so focused on being a great spouse and being a great parent, being a great provider and homemaker.
And then when we look down somewhere in our late 30s to our early 50s and we're like, oh my God, what the heck happened to me? I used to have so much energy.
And I used to be able to go here and do the things and participate in sports and all the other stuff.
right? It's like, oh, you got to wake up and dust yourself off and like creep your way out of bed.
You get to the bathroom and you're like, oh my God, you see this face staring back at you and you don't recognize yourself anymore.
And then you see your body and you're like, ah, what happened to me? What the hell's going on here? Your energy is just all over the place.
You know, you, you just, trying to get through the day and keep a happy face but you feel your life slipping away you feel your essence slipping away in many ways you're no longer the person you once were and that's scary isn't it you start to feel anxious about the future If I can't get through today feeling good, like how the heck am I going to get through next week, next month, next year, next decade? And I'll tell you, for those of you who are in the later 30s and early 40s, go speak to your friends who are in their later 50s and early 60s.
