Monday 10/12/26 | Headlines, Debates | Candidate Carrie Harris

So...

Where do I want to get started? Well, I guess I'll start because we've got about six minutes here, so I don't want to take a whole lot.

I want to get into this gubernatorial debate because, man, I just, wow.

I got a chance to host, emcee.

be part of this Get Out the Vote rally, which took place down here in Homer, just down the road from me, in fact.

It was like five minutes away at the Bar 5 venue down here in Homer.

It was a Get Out the Vote rally put on by the Alaska Patriots PAC.

And they had, it was quite a shindig.

There was like 120, 130 people there.

And it was it was pretty, pretty amazing.

A lot of candidates showed up and we had discussions on getting out the vote.

That was the whole point, right, is to encourage.

And I made the comment from the stage that, you know, hey, these are these guys were all super voters.

I'm like, it's not like we need to convince you people to vote.

You're going to get out and vote what we need to do.

is we need to go out and find other people.

I made some kind of multi-level marketing joke.

You know, you get two, who get two, who get two, who get two.

And pretty soon, you got a lot of people out there voting.

This is strictly a numbers game.

To that end, Michael Jones was there.

Michael Jones was there.

He gave his presentation.

on Ranked Choice Voting.

And it was just, it was a really good, it was a really good gathering of folks.
