I used to read all of Tony Hillerman's books.

And now they have the Dark Winds TV show, which is excellent, loosely based on his books.

But there were a few times he really goes into the Navajo culture because he lived there.

He gained a lot of their trust and he treated them with respect.

And you've done work on Dark Winds.

I wrote for seasons two and three.

So my dad is at the age of 75.

My dad found his calling as an actor.

So when I was working on Dark Winds, there was a character of a little old man who sits in front of the police station.

And I told my dad to audition for it, and he got it.

But the show we're examining today managed to walk that tightrope so effectively that it has, um, fundamentally altered the landscape of representation in Hollywood.
