And just before we begin, a little note, you would have noticed that we've had a little refresh, a new name.

Our Menopause and Cancer podcast is now called Navigating Menopause After Cancer.

And after four years of podcasting, I just felt it was time for a new chapter and a little refresh.

For the last couple of weeks, I brought on brilliant survivors so we can hear about their struggles, their journeys, their differences, and we can learn together.

And for the next few weeks, I want to bring experts back onto the show so that we can learn about the latest evidence, novel treatments, and really be on the pulse of what's happening out there.

You might have heard names like Vioza, Fezolinatant, Ezilinatant, I think they're called, unless I'm getting that wrong.

Most recently in our Facebook group, there were more posts again from people saying how debilitating their night sweats and hot flushes are, how people think they have to come off the endocrine therapy and how maybe their hot flushes before their cancer treatment and diagnosis were manageable.

So if hot flushes are bothering you, wherever you are in the world, you may want to listen to this conversation.

What I really want to get to the bottom of this is what are the differences in these drugs? Which ones do we have safety evidence for cancer patients? But also, how can you get hold of them? Because most recently, when I've been chatting to people, I hear lots of different stories.

If you're in the US, you may have been recommended them or prescribed them, and maybe your insurance is companies making it very difficult for you to access them.

And that is what we're going to talk about today with our fabulous Dr. Zoe Schadell.

I definitely needed to reflect on his conversation, but also go back to some of the other conversations we had with Dr. Zoe Schadell We chatted about sleep, about other non-hormonal drugs, alternatives to HRT.

I'm going to link them all into the show notes because we can learn so much from this absolutely incredible doctor.
