[gentle music] Welcome to the Menopause and Cancer Podcast, where we speak with cancer patients, survivors, and incredible experts in their fields to help us find solutions to our symptoms and ideas to improve our health.

In fact, I've had emails and messages of people saying, "Dani, please talk about ADHD and menopause after cancer." And so I'm very excited to bring you an absolutely wonderful doctor.

There is so much to uncover and unpack, and I know this episode is just scratching the surface.

So really let's use this episode as a little bit of a explorative episode because so many of you say to me, "Dani, I'm just losing it.

It wasn't like this before crash menopause after cancer, and I just don't feel I can hold it together anymore." And that is also the experience Jane made.

Jane is a fantastic member of our community, and she has also contributed some messages for us for this conversation.

So thank you, Jane, for sending in your voice memos, and we're gonna play them throughout the show today because we're often told it's just brain fog or it's just a lack of concentration.

But could it also be ADHD? That is the real question some people might ask themselves.

And why is it so prominent when we've been pushed off that hormonal cliff? But what I wanna know from Helen today is where do we start if we think, is it ADHD after my surgically or medically induced menopause? Where do we go, and how do we start exploring? So let this be our wake-up call conversation.

Thank you so much for everyone for being here, for listening and learning with me, and for exploring with me this very, very difficult topic, right? And so let's welcome Helen onto the show, and let's see where the conversation takes us.
