When you see a headline that says Florida man, this guy, Captain Bob Stafford.
But we're here to talk about one of the things he does, which he's, he's a gator hunter and guides gator hunts in Okeechobee, Lake Okeechobee.
I, I've been thinking about talking to this man for many years, 'cause I met you maybe six, five years ago.
We were out, and I was doing a, I was doing a, a different unrelated work project, kind of like ancillary to the stuff I do, kind of ancillary to what I do at MeatEater.
But we were working on a project, and we were out in Lake Okeechobee, and we were shooting tilapia with bows and arrows one night.
And what stuck in my head is he was telling me about baiting gators with, with chickens.
And it's burrowed in my head, and we became kind of like, you know, text message friends.
