All right, I wanted to talk about this time of year, here we are, October through the run to the end of the year in January, there are certain content formats that crush it for business marketers, consumer marketers, nonprofit marketers this time of year that every other time of year it doesn't work.
So my organization, for example, has been put together a calendar every year of the best and worst days to send out your email marketing.
And we have this calendar where red days and green days based on all this data.
It's the 2027 calendar for all the marathons of the year, and then you put all your sales on the calendar.
You put all the biggest conferences, and you put all your information in there.
Just go to AI, whatever industry or sector you're in, put in who you are, uh, have it make a calendar with you, gate it, and you will get more database growth.
As compared to any other content format, if you promote it now through the end of January, we see over a 75% lift versus standard content for gated co- calendar content starting from October through the end of January.
When you round up your content for the year, like these are my top 15 articles or top 12 articles of the year, um, I think people want you to curate something for them, and they missed a lot of things that you did over the year.
So curating your top eight articles, or top things that happened this year, or top events, or top takeaways, I think that's one.
And then I think the second one I would add is anything that are, like, trends going into 2027, predictions going into 2027.
Um, we had an episode on the old Bathroom Break about prediction markets, but I think trends and predictions are content that really crush right now because you're giving your own thought leadership take on it, and it also is p- what people are looking for in this moment right now.
I would say if you wanna focus on certain words in your email subject lines, in your offer titles, your webinar titles, your sale titles, it's outlook, trends, prediction, forecast.
Those are the words this time of year through the end of January that we all care about 'cause we all wanna know what is gonna happen.
So that's what we should be thinking about in all of our marketing right now.
