You know, I'm recently doing some research on Nikola Tesla to revive older research that I did on him, and he regularly memorized lots and lots of poetry, but it wasn't just that he took it upon himself to do that.
So we know that these are all good things to do, but We really, really have to train ourselves to do it.
And, you know, the part about maintaining social connections has hit me particularly hard the last couple of years, because as someone who has taught memory improvement for 15 years, I recently moved away from all my friends, and I'm definitely feeling the impact of that decision.
And I didn't expect when I moved that I wouldn't easily make new friends or that it would be as challenging as it has been to go and see older friends and so forth.
But at the end of the day, we're all facing the consequences of the decisions that we make because everything influences the quality of our minds.
So if you'd like to know what I'm personally doing to maintain focus and memory as I age while leading an unusually isolated life, Today, I'm sharing my research and experiences.
And it is unique because I am the author of multiple memory improvement books.
And I'm someone, frankly, who has a reputation to maintain in the field of mental performance.
And since we all need to preserve our reputations, How I'm tackling my own concentration, my memory and focus challenges, I imagine might help you along your own journey.
