But also, Crash Bandicoot is iconic, regardless of whether he's the mascot of PlayStation still.

PlayStation really put it to and Naughty Dog really put it to Nintendo with the slagging and the poking the bear kind of thing.

Because how PlayStation came about actually was Nintendo and PlayStation were supposed to partner, and then at a conference, last minute, Nintendo pulled the rug out and partnered with Panasonic instead.

And there's a few things in this game, like even on the cover, right? I'm going to just say, if you bring up, if you're at a computer now, or if you have the capabilities, right? Or if you're sitting beside an episode, an episode? If you're sitting beside a copy of Crash Bandicoot and the PlayStation 1, Just have a look at the cover art, right? We all know the very cool cover art.

The big, huge yellow logo at the top with Crash Bandicoot written on the plaque and he's running towards you with his big grin and he's looking all cool, yeah? but if you look in the back left right sorry not in the back left right in the back left okay there is a red and white mushroom and this can be seen in the very first level and I thought this when I was playing this game to prepare for this episode I noticed this jumped out at me for the first time I'd never copped it before I'd never twigged it before I don't know if it's a known thing I don't know if it's a commonly talked about thing but There are red and white mushrooms in this game and that to me feels like a bit of a I don't know if they're trying to pay homage to Mario if they're trying to take the piss out of Mario but it just reminds me of Mario mushrooms and I wonder is it like they literally have it on the on the cover art.

and then they have like the adverts of Crash Bandicoot going to the Nintendo offices being like hey plumber boy hey moustache man come on out here or something like it's like he's going to try and fight him again poking the bear the same way Sega did and it obviously worked for Sega with the rise of Sonic 1 and 2 but this game is just an absolute classic and I remember the first time I ever played it was I was staying at my dad's and my dad's friend brought over a playstation and he brought over Crash Bandicoot and a copy of the original GTA now I don't know what year this was in but that's the first time I can remember playing the original Crash Bandicoot and I loved it really really good platformer feel like there's there's so much in this game it offers you so much and there's so much variety in it it's just an absolute classic and look it's made by Naughty Dog they made Uncharted they made The Last of Us I don't know what else they made but that's good enough that's all you need to know Crash Bandicoot like if that's on your CV or on your resume Like you don't really need to say much more do you? Crash Bandicoot The Last of Us Uncharted.
