the man's got an aura about him the players believe in him he's able to attract big names to the club quite clearly when they've spoken to him he's straight in obviously it's very early days and there will be bumps in the road like he says but I genuinely believe that we found an absolute gem of a manager who let's face it was quite unknown to a lot of us when he was appointed I hadn't heard much about him but I tell you what we have now
The pull is a big thing, isn't it, lads? I do think that that's something where even if you're a massive Eddie Howe fan, the fact that he had multiple big players who have been chased by Champions League sides, Gonzalez and Fernandes Pardo, both said they supported the manager and that was a huge reason as to why they chose us even without Champions League football.
And with Eddie, it felt like that was a huge stumbling point of getting players to actually sign for us, becoming Rejection FC.
I don't know if that's even up for debate, whether or not he's better at bringing players in.
Eddie wasn't signing at all, unless it was for Yaisler.
He was 100% not coming, unless it was Yaisler going for him.
With Eddie, at some point along the way, it felt like it was all about not losing instead of going out and trying to win every game.
And I definitely think there's an element of risk-taking with Jaisla that just was not there with Eddie's style of football.
It's important, the style of play nowadays, maybe not so much 10, 20 years ago, but nowadays, how you use the players in specific roles is really important.
And if you remember, Ross Wilson said, we went after Matthias Fernandes-Pardo at the beginning of the season, but he was unsure.
So the manager needs to believe and show the players exactly their progression that they're going to make over the next one or two years or however long they're here.
And I actually think Yaisla is the perfect manager for the new direction we're going in.
